How to Delete Your Account in the Mobile App
Use the account deletion flow in the ProLynk mobile app while signed in to the account you want to delete.
- Open the ProLynk mobile app.
- Sign in with the email address associated with your account.
- Go to the User Profile page.
- Open the profile menu option.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the confirmation message and confirm deletion if you want to continue.
Important: Account deletion is intended to be permanent. If you are a Pro, deleting your account may remove your pro profile from discovery and prevent clients from booking you through ProLynk.
What Information Is Deleted
When your account deletion request is processed, ProLynk removes or deactivates information that is no longer needed to provide the service, such as:
- Your account profile and sign-in access
- Client profile details associated with the account
- Pro profile details, service listings, availability, and public discovery visibility, if applicable
- Device tokens used for push notifications
- Non-essential preferences and app data tied to the account
Information We May Retain
Some records may be retained when needed for legal, tax, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, payment processing, or legitimate business recordkeeping. This may include:
- Completed booking records and related transaction history
- Payment, payout, refund, credit, and fee records required for reconciliation
- Support, safety, fraud-prevention, and dispute records
- Records required by payment processors such as Stripe
- De-identified or aggregated analytics that no longer identify you personally
Retained records are kept only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by applicable law.
Need Help or Cannot Access the App?
If you cannot access the mobile app, email us from the email address registered to your ProLynk account and request account deletion.
